I would like to have the older utilities back too. (ike DiskExplorer). There is no excuse to remove these. I do not see how to provide feedback in TuneUp.
I am very dissapointed about tuneup and lack of disk space explorer and other functions like changing appearance of windows. I want version before avg take rights to tuneup. You people broke this great app and dont tell me you sorry about that, youd just dont carre about peoples. I cannot activate 2018 version with 2019 key, its so dumb. This is my first and last buy from avg.

Two years past and still this new "more user friendly" version has only 1/30 von fucntions from the old one. Seems to be the other programm were unstable?? Haha.
Please AVG dont lie to your self at least, we know why do you make it.
And the price tag is still not 30x cheaper.
You have only simplified the GUI, but user who need such simplified GUI will not buy and install such programm, because they will not need it at all.
It was a good programm, the only one function which is worth now one is autorun disable. The other is not so good anymore, because too simple or not working so good as before.
So moving to another developer.
You have RIP`ed very good tools and loose the money.
I'm late to the party, but I just noticed that the disk space explorer (and "turbo mode, among other utilites) is missing. It seems that AVG has been "streamlining" (aka, removing functionality) from this suite rather than adding value.
I wouldn't have renewed my subscription for 3 years, 2 years ago, had I known that the "automatic maintenance" and startup management might be the only remaining features that I might be benefiting from now. I won't be renewing 10 months from now if the capabilities of AVG TuneUp aren't on-par with suites like PC Mechanic and Advanced System Care by then…

Are you referring to Disc doctor or disk space explorer feature? If you are referring to disc doctor, be informed that this feature is available in the latest version of AVG PC TuneUp.
We are uncertain about the exact version of the program you installed on your PC.

Disk defragmentation & Disk space explorer are 2 different features that was available in the older version of AVG PC TuneUp.
Unfortunately, it has been removed in the revamped version. Our developers are already aware of this & your feedback might be considered in future. The removed features might be added in the upcoming version or future.

Hello, I have AVG tune up version 18.3 build 507. I miss the Disk Space Explorer from AVG. Please please insert this tool again. It was so useful. Thanks

But I assure we have been collecting valuable feedback from our users and adding new features to latest version of AVG TuneUp.
Disk defragmentation feature has been improved and introduced again in the latest version.
That's unfortunate.
It seems that this feature was removed in the latest version of AVG TuneUp.
You can send your feedback regarding this from your AVG Internet Security interface.
Open AVG Internet Security, click on "Menu->About->Submit Feedback".

"Disk Space Explorer" and "Disk defragmentation" is two different function. And hier was about "Disk Space Explorer".
"Disk defragmentation" with SSD will almost not used today, but Disk Space Explorer is still usefuul, each months.

This isn't the experience we would like you to have.
We have removed certain features in the latest version of the AVG TuneUp to make the program more stable. This new version is more user friendly and easy to use interface.

As we can see again, we know software better as support from AVG.
Disk space explorer and Disk defragmentation are two different apps in TuneUp utilities. Not common at all.
We are talking about Disk space explorer and not a Disk defragmentation. Disk defragmentation needed less und less, because of SSD.
And Disk space explorer is still the tool number one to use.
I hope you can find information that this two different apps do and why this is not the same.
