Disturbing notifications from AVG

Thank you for the fast help as regards AVG Security and TuneUp

I recently updated from AVG PC TuneUp to AVG TuneUp. I see no sign of the old version om my PC (Windows 10), however on my laptop (Windows 8) both versions exist, and apparently I do not have sufficient administrator rights to remove it?
My subscription started 2 yrs ago (I have bought AVG Ultimate 5 yrs in all) and is related to the old product

We regret the inconvenience caused. This isn't the experience we wanted you to have.
The notification you're referring to, is an advert for our AVG Secure VPN product. Please follow the below steps to disable the adverts on your AVG Internet Security:
Open your AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > Personal Privacy > Offers > please uncheck the below options:
1. Share App usage data with AVG, so we may offer you upgrades or our other products.
2. Share App usage data with AVG, so we may offer you 3rd party products.
Once the above options have been unchecked, please restart your computer once and check if the adverts still appear.
Regarding your query related to AVG TuneUp, please let us know if you're using the AVG TuneUp (latest version) or the AVG PC TuneUp (older version) on your computer.

Is there any way to switch off disturbing notifications from AVG? These notifications are mainly focused on selling your products eg. "Your IP address is visible" (I have VPN - but not AVG anymore) or "Your free PC TuneUp subscription is running out" (although I have a paid version running?). It is a problem for me that AVG misuses their access to my PC for commercial purposes. I did not buy that
