I have been getting the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error on Chrome browser only, for just 1 of my computers. I have to reload the web page, and the error goes away. Problem usually appears when clicking on email links. Running Windows 10. I did all the steps of flushing cache, uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome, change DNS settings, removing extensions, etc. I finally narrowed it down to Web Shield. When I turn off Web Shield, Chrome works perfectly. When I turn it back on, the problem immediately reappears.
How can I still use Web Shield? Or, is there an alternative?
