Hello, Paul.
We apologize for the delay in response. AVG Secure VPN has DNS leak protection. We are using open VPN which is blocking DNS (port 53) on all adapters except the VPN one. Your DNS records will be always visible in the WireShark. However, the most important piece of information is which adapter was used to send the request and to which DNS server. Was the VPN adapter used? What is the IP address of the DNS server? And lastly, do all DNS requests looks the same or is it connected to e.g. usage of certain application etc.
Hello. I am using AVG Secure VPN on 64 bit Windows 7 with Firefox. When I browse to a site I can still pick up the DNS traffic using WireShark which clearly shows which site I am browsing. Is this correct behavior? How can I hide this DNS information? Thanks
