If your computer suddenly goes offline, and you are in your AVG renewal notification period, and you receive the error message: "DNS server is incorrect or does not exist." You will of course try to run all the troubleshooting diagnostics (Windows 10 or equivalent), and those will not work. Here's something that will, in that case. Renew your AVG subscription early (mine was 5 days from expiration), and voila, you will get back online. Isn't that a little bit like ransomware, fellas?
