Do I have to Download AVG again?

Now I am totally confused. The expire date is 11/21/17. Last night I paid for a renewal and paid 69.99 which is not the right price. I clicked on the renew in my AVG program. I  missed the email that said I didn't have to do anything.   So I get an email from AVG support  saying that I am good to go Your product has been upgraded and the recent charges (Ref. No. 703-2278433) is applied for AVG Internet Security - Unlimited and it is valid till 2018.11.7. You can install this on multiple computers using your AVG My account email address and respective password. You do not require the licence number. It also asks me to download it.  The price should have been $64.99 but I was charged $69.99. The address in the email was from the Netherlands. What is the problem and do I really have to download it again, and I would appreciate a refund for the $5.00  Thanks so much,

If your AVG Internet Security (which has been renewed) is working fine on your computer, then there is no need to reinstall. Please open AVG Internet Security > menu > about > subscription and look for the expire date. Feel free to contact us again if you need any further assistance.

I just resubscribed to the service. Do I have to uninstall my AVG and download it again or has it been automatically extended until it it time to renew again?  Thanks so much. I am a little bit confused.

I see that you were using AVG Internet Security (1 computer) license which can be used on a single computer and this license is active until 22nd Nov 2017. Instead of renewing this license, you bought a new AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) which is same in features compared to AVG Internet Security (1 computer) but the difference is it can be used on unlimited no.of devices (Windows, Mac & Android).

Irrespective of this new purchase, the existing AVG Internet Security (1 computer) got auto renewed. The amount charged for auto renewal was $51.99 and the price for Unlimited version (your new purchase) was $69.99/year. If you would like, I can help you get 100% refund for either of the products. Please revert with your choice to proceed further.
