Do not show AVG virus check note in every email footer

We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please follow the instructions provided below and check whether it resolves the issue:
1. Open AVG program.
2. Click on the "Options" and click on the "Advanced Settings".
3. Click on the + button before the Email Protection.
4. Click on the + button before the Email Scanner and click on the Certification.
5. Uncheck the checkbox "Certify Incoming Emails" .
6. Click OK to save changes.

I just got a new PC and use Outlook 2016. I installed AVG and now I have the default blurb at the bottom of EVERY email I get. I need to get rid of this. I figured it out a few years ago. I have no idea how to do this now. Please help!
