Hello Cliff,
The "Do Not Disturb" feature is available in the 18.6 version of AVG.
The feature is not available as a standalone app.
If you have the latest version, then you should find the feature under "Menu".
Provide the screenshot of "AVG Internet Security–>Menu" window to assist further.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Yes, I know it is a feature, not standalone. If you read my post you'll see I'd already found it under "Menu". The feature is not malfunctioning, so a screenshot would give you no new information, as you have given me none. And since you ignored my final question, I gather you can't provide more info. So we're done. Good job, Bala!
I can't find any documentation for DO NOT DISTURB MODE in AVG Internet Security. It doesn't even come up in a search of the support site. The small blurb under the related menu item is totally inadequate. Can anyone provide a pdf or link with full details on the feature and its un-asked-for intrusions?
I am sorry, Cliff. Let me explain this for you.
We do not have separate article or PDF for AVG DND (Do not disturb mode). Do Not Disturb Mode is a new feature in AVG Internet Security, and an upgrade to the previous Game Mode feature.
Do Not Disturb Mode works to silence unnecessary notifications while you run almost any application in fullscreen. Each time you open an application in full screen, Do Not Disturb Mode automatically detects it and adds it to a list of applications. When you run applications from this list of entries, Do Not Disturb Mode automatically launches to silence notifications from Windows, AVG Internet Security, and other applications. In the Do Not Disturb Mode applications list, you can also tick the Maximize performance box next to any application, which will allow it to run at highest priority and boost the performance of your PC.
