Does AVG Antivirus Free 2015 scan all downloaded files including exe, pdf, txt etc...?

Pat, Downloaded files are scanned by AVG… All types?.. When available, A member of the official AVG Community Support in Brno (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-forums?sec=thread&act=show&id=190509) will see your topic & respond but please bear in mind that it's now the weekend.

Hi Pat,
In default settings it scans all Infectable files when you try open them, but not when you are downloading them.
