Does AVG have a driver update program?

I have had a few emails trying to sell me a driver update program. When I scan down the mail I see that it is a Microsoft program. They claim to be a trusted partner of AVG.  I have a suspicion this is a scam but I would like AVG to confirm this and possibly explain why my Premium AVG protection didn't pick it up.
