Does AVG protect against the GameOver Zeus virus or not?

Hi Andy,
We are detecting all known variants of this malware however no security solution can provide 100% detection rate. If you have access to any suspicious files, websites, etc. we would like to kindly ask you to provide us with them through http://samplesubmit.avg.com form.

Getsafeonline and CERT list all the security software companies that have produced specific tools to search for and remedy the Gameover Zeus virus, symantec, sophos, mcafee. kaspersky they're all there but nothing from AVG. Why not?? If AVG have not created a fix should I download one of the other removal tools instead to protecdt my computer from the ZEUS and Cryptolocker virus. The two week window is closing!
