We apologies for the inconvenience. This isn't the expected behavior of AVG programs.
Let us know if by 'Activate', you have to manually activate them using your license key/code after every system startup.
Also, are you referring to the "Password Protection" component of your AVG Internet Security?
If yes, please make sure that your AVG Internet Security has been updated to the latest version (20.10) & check if the issue persists.

Why is it I have to activate Breach Guard and Password Protection every time I start the computer? Even during a session I find they are no longer active and I have to turn them on again.
