Dow AVG update require administrator control?

Hi Dwayne,
I will help you with the issue,
AVG Updates are automatic which will prompt even when you are not logged in as administrator.
You can also update it manually any time,
But AVG upgrade to new version is not automatic as it involves re-installation.
To download AVG Protection Pro 2016 you have to Uninstall all AVG program,
And do you a clean installation by downloading it from www.AVG.com/download

I've installed AVG Internet Security on a laptop running Windows 7.  This AVG installation is connedted to my AVG (Zen) account but not as 'Admin'.  This PC is to be used by family members who DO NOT have Administrator control of the PC.

AVG works fine now, but in a few weeks when AVG pushes an update to the program or definition files, will the install proceed prompted, or automatically?  Or will I need to log onto the PC ​as Administrator to allow the updates to install?
