Down loaded trial version now i am having problems with my quick books and tonight it showed broken signature and unable to open them up did this cause the problem?

Down loaded free trial version and now having major problems opening my quickbooks takes 10 minutes to open or it locks up is there a posibility that this is causing the problem. Did not have this problem until I installed it and tonight it showed broken signature.
