I am very sorry for such destabilizing encounters you have been faced with. You have bought AVG Secure VPN which is valid until 5/15/2019. This product doesn't include AVG Internet Security, PC TuneUp Or Password protection. You have to purchase it separately. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it, free of cost.
I am not at all computer literate. I paid for AVG VPN (which I think is Internet Security, Tune up and password protection?) and then downloaded it. The AVG SITE would not accept my password just created although I tried 3 times. So I accepted the "free trial". The page showed log out however at the top right hand corner of the page. (Now its showing log in at the top but log out in the box on the left!) When completed and my cursor passed over the icon before I could click on it it vanished. I dont know whether it has to be installed or if it does that automatically. I am panicking because a warning popped up that an attempt was being made to steal my passwords. Also when I tried to download the invoice it could not and a message said "server error no SYS-000001" and that I must press the back arrow. I am feeling more insecure now than before I paid for the security. I am totally confused. Please will someone that has patience with a laptop novice help as I could not get through to the online support either.

When I was on the computer yesterday evening a pop up said that anyone with a little know how can see what I am doing and which sites I am visiting on the internet. An avg pop window popped up with a special offer of R299. The advertisement said at the top - save R200. Showing the normal price crossed out. Below that several products were listed in the box. 3 were checked as comprising the products offered for the R299, being Internet Security, PC Tune Up and Password Protection. I then clicked next following instructions to pay the R299. I even clicked the back arrow to go back to the offer to make sure and write down what I was paying for. To pay R299 for VPN which you explained just shows that I am in Johannesburg is not good enough as my computer has shown Johannesburg as the location for a long time because it is a Windows 10 settings option . I therefor want expect a full refund. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. A few months ago I enquired at the computer shop about AVG as I wanted to upgrade my security and was advised to rather purchase another product with a one off fee for a two year cover period. However, yesterday I decided to purchase yours as I felt loyalty towards you as I have used AVG free for years. Please cancel my order and email me a letter authorizing my bank to reverse the full amount paid to yourselves
Check the problem I have, the damage it can cause, how little avg can do to fix their software malfunctions and decide if you really want this software…
