We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please check whether you have installed any other conflicting applications like McAfee, Avast, Norton etc… on your PC, If so please uninstall the conflicting applications.
If not, please click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool to remove all the traces of the AVG.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
- Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program.
5. Run the downloaded file to start the installation process.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen.
7. Complete the installation and restart your computer.

When trying to install my AVG Anti Virus renewal, I get an error message that says there are incompatible programs that must be removed first. I try to remove my AVG Zen and an error message says it cannot be removed until AVG PC Tune Up is removed. AVG PC Tune Up is not on my list of programs to uninstall. How can I get my newly renewed AVG Anti Virus program downloaded?
