Downloaded new security and now can't get into PC

I bought AVG Internet Security, AVG PC Tuneup and AVG Driver Updater last night and restarted PC at 10.30 this morning. It reaches 10% 'scanning and repairing C drive' but goes no further. I have tried restarting several times without any progress. I have also tried AVG Chat but they are apparently unavailable. So far it has taken over 6 hours. Please help.

Hi.I have tried tapping the escape key and I just get to the blue screen that says "automatic repair your pc did not start correctly ". Do I select restart or advanced options?

Please click Restart button.
If the issue still persists, then share a screenshot/picture of the "scanning and repairing C drive" window to proceed further.
You can take a picture of the page using mobile phone.
You can post the screenshot/picture here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
