Downloading a pdf file from the Internet

I have been having a problem here in terms of selecting the folder to download in to.

When I download a pdf file, if I double click on the image it goes straight into my Downloads folder - which I do not want to happen.

If I single click, it allows me to select the folder of my choice - which I want - but treats the file as an AVG HTML Document, whereas it should treat it as an Adobe .pdf as this is my default app. As such, I have to select All files to save it as a .pdf. This extra selection is annoying - please adivse.

Have you installed the AVG Secure Browser?
