Since you have mentioned that AVG free version is not running your system, confirm once whether you uninstall AVG free version before installing the AVG protection. Thank you.

Hi, I have Windows 10 with Office Home & Student 2016. I have AVG Free running and can't download AVG Pro even when Free isn't running. Continual error telling me to restart and try again. Any ideas?
