Downloading Definitions to update from a folder on XP pc with ver 16 avg

We are glad to help you. But, we do not have option to download virus database on different PC and move to Windows XP. The latest version of AVG Internet Security can be installed from Winows 7 Service pack 1 and higher operating system.

As you are using Windows XP, we request you to reinstall AVG Internet Security using below download link :

Have an older Sony VAIO  desktop with  XP  sp4 and  AVG 16.

It says I am not connected to the internet and hangs on the update of virus definitions.
Chrome is the browser.
Is there an FTP address to download definitions to on another  desktop ( win 8 ), then copy the files to a folder on the XP sony desktop to do a Folder Update definitions ?
Please provide steps.
