Dreadful product

Hello David,

I've been using AVG Security suite for a number of years and on the whole it has been unobtrusive and just worked, as far as I can tell. Some months ago the product went through a major upgrade and at the time I didn't fully appreciate the problems that I started to have with my PC were all attributable to AVG!
Last week the product was upgraded again, but the problems that this has created are even worse than the previous upgrade.
I contacted AVG's online help for the first time, and let the technician take remote control of my PC to try to sort out the problem, which manifests as the inability to browse or do anything on the web with AVG turned on.
The technician admitted that there was a problem with the latest upgrade and AVG were trying to fix it, so far this has not happened. The technician suggested that I manually enter all the URL's that I use as "exceptions" to overcome this problem, which doesn't work effectively even when the wildcard * is used to define the range of the URL. My PC is now almost useless unless I turn off AVG.

So my question is - when are AVG going to fix this heap of crap? Or do I have to remove it and find something more reliable?  Its not much to ask for a product to be tested before it is released, you obviously know about this problem so where is the patch?
