I was recently debited an amount from my account for something I don't know. I thought I was subscripted to AVG PC Tune Up and wanted to unsubscribe so I didn't have to pay the automatic renewal. Couldn't find any product bought or current subscriptions under the my products section. I tried the Avg removal tool as well, and there's was nothing left in my pc, or any traces of the subscription in my online account that I could find. Nevertheless, I still received a receipt in paypal for 34,99eur from Digital River Ireland. This was after I sent an email to which the response was this:
Hello Catarina,
I couldn't find a subscription or trial signed up for AVG PC TuneUp on your *****@gmail.com account.
If the AVG Antivirus free "my subscriptions" windows shows as PC TuneUp installed.
Please check in control panel "uninstall program" program for PC TuneUp.
If it appears, proceed to uninstall it as mentioned (here).
If this method doesn't help, use AVG removal tool to remove PC TuneUp traces.
