Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal Blue screen

Thank you for getting back to me Ranjani. I have tried what you suggested, but even in save mode with network the computer crashes. I brought up the safe mode and was able to remove AVG from there. I would say that I've already passed any issue I can solve by simply removing AVG.

It looks like at this point I need to copy a fresh version of the ndis.sys from the WinSX folder to keep the who computer from crashing, but everytime I try to copy a file from folder to folder the whole UI crashes. I know I am asking a lot here but any suggestions you might have to fix my file copying issue should allow me to get the computer at least operational again.

Thank you.

B Calhoun,

We do understand how difficult this is for you. Do not worry, we are here to help you! We can resolve this issue by uninstalling AVG in safe mode. Please reboot your device http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode in safe mode and refer this article to uninstall http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV your AVG program.

Then kindly remove the AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.
1. Type  “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2.  “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3.  %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4.  %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files. Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files. Reboot your device in normal mode and check for the issue. Let us know if you face any difficulties, thank you.

I just purchased and installed AVG Zen 2016 Unlimited for my new windows 10 PC and it runs perfectly. Unfortunately I tried it on my old Windows 7 laptop and now it crashes to the IRQL blue screen about 10 seconds after it reaches the account login screen for the OS. This happens each time it gets to that account screen. The version is whatever version of Zen that you can currently download. I never had a chance to update anything since the crashes happened after the initial install and reboot.

I am able to use the laptop in safe mode but the issue still happens in safe mode (network) and obviously in normal mode. I have since uninstalled AVG from that machine but the laptop is still crashing. I realize that computer systems have unexpected internal conflicts that can cause these random things but I am lost here. Any direction to get the laptop working in normal mode would be greatly appreciated.
