AVG "gurus" ?
finally, after a two day delay I was able to download and intall, enter my Key and update my drivers. but while I was in never, never land (through no fault of my own) as I told you previously some technician supposedly took over my computer but never communicated with me.
Yesterday when I booted up and checked my email, I discovered that there were at least 50 email addresses that had been rejected, many with .fr or .uk on the end. the trouble is I never sent out any eamials to any such people. It would appear that there twere the rejects of a huge mailing that some jerk who was using my computer as a server had sent.
So, AVG, which is supposed to protect me from malware – actully either installed or allowed the intallation of some on my computer So some malicious hackers could use my machine for god knows what? I ran both AVG and MS scans and they turned up no problems and my machine seem to be running fine. But what is your explanation for this?
I'll wait.

AVG:
I just bought Driver update from AVG today. I am a very good customer. I have current AVG internet security and AVG PC tune-up. I downloaded Driver update as per instructions. I was never allowed to enter my license # to install it. Instead it said the subscription had expired. How could it have expired when I just bought it? Very obtuse, very user unfriendly!
When I would try to download it using the key number you furnished me it would say "file does not exist."
I could not connect with any sort of customer support with AVG it kept trying to get me to "renew" my current AVG internet security and AVG PC tune-up.
Finally, using Google I got "driver update live chat" and gave their computerized technician control of my computer --twice --but NOTHING happened.
The bottom line is you have my money, and I have nothing but a wasted day, and very much reduced faith in AVG!!
I have been a good and loyal customer who has recommended your products to lots of people. But that is now in question. I am very unhappy with you. I do not understand how you could provide customer service this bad!
