Driver updater won't create a restore point

We're sorry to hear this. Could you get into Windows settings and see whether you are able to create a system restore point from there?

I can't get driver updater to work. It won't create a restore point. Only can stop serching with task manager force stop

Let us reinstall AVG Driver Updater and check the status again. Please uninstall the program from control panel. You can download again from www.avg.com/downloads. Once the installation is complete, please activate the product using the License number received. You can refer the article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-Driver-Updater to activate the program. Then try creating restore point and let me know the status. Incase you get any error message, please share the screenshot of the same.

I run Win8.1  have no idea to go into settings to do a restore point  Anyway, even if i could do it , it still wants to do a restore point and once the widow comes up to do it the whole program is locked and won't go past it .
