This appeared in a thread in 2016 but still no solution?
When I open duplicates cleaner on an Asus IEEE1001PC the top of the window is at the top of the screen. The bottom of the window is below the botton of the screen and with it the command buttons. I can grab the edges and move the window a little but not enough and I cannot resize.
I tried changing the dpi to 75% and everything else in windows resized but not the duplicates window.
Why isn't it easily resizable as any normal window? How do I solve this problem?

We've tried it and it's working for us.
It seems the issue is with your computer display resolution. Please try the higher resolution of your computer Display and check if you can resize the AVG Duplicate Finder page.

According to your email you cannot use remote assistance on a PC running XP and this is. I do know that Team Viewer works on XP… perhaps this will work instead?
Otherwise, if you have a step by step solution for XP, perhaps you can email me that and I'll work through it.
But perhaps you can explain why, in the at least two years since this was raised in the thread I found, these windows are not resizable? Surely this is a simple thing and standard with pretty much any other software… except, for some reason, AVG. Oh, and this is not an issue with XP, I had the same problem with Win 8.1 that I could not resize, though in that case I could see it all on my larger display. And what happens when I install on my androids? I guess I'll find out as my today's activity.
