This month (April 2017) dvico fusion hdtv stopped working. It loads, shows station is being received, but no sound or or picture. Uninstalling AVG Free clears the problem. Switching off everything in AVG does not clear the problem. Halting AVG for 10 minutes does not help. Installing a fresh copy while the TV is running does not stop the TV but restarting the TV fails.
Something in the latest (sometimes this month) AVG blocks the TV. Last week it blocked it sometimes, now it blocks it all the time. Firewall is not installed.
