We appreciate your efforts, regret the inconvenience. I see that your AVG PC TuneUp (2 computers) has been recently renewed and that's why you have that activation email. You already have AVG Internet Security - Unlimited and AVG TuneUp - Unlimited. It's not necessary to have AVG PC Tuneup (2 computers) , you can get refund for it.
Now, open AVG PC Tuneup which you have installed and click on "Go to Zen" option at the top left. It will open AVG management console, click on "Connect" at the top right and enter your email address and password to activate it.
I have been using AVG PC TuneUp for more than a year and recently updated my subscription. Installed okay. Ran okay.
Within the last month I have received two e-mail messages saying
"You are almost there!
You just need to activate your license"
The instructions which follow do not work. Specifically,
1. Open AVG PC Tuneup. (Works okay)
2. In the AVG PC TuneUp window, click Help & Support, then Activate product. Problems:
The AVG PC TuneUp screen does is not like the one illustrated in the e-mail message
There is a "Help" pull-down but not a "Help & Support" pull-down
Underneath that pull-down there isn't an "Activate Product" option
I have wasted about 90 minutes searching through menus, reinstalling (restarting computer).
Key point is, I am able to execute the TuneUp program, but I suspect it's for a limited trial time and not getting some of the functionality that comes with a paid subscription.
Has anyone else seen this?
