While I appreciate Zbynek's confidence in my answer, I recently found a passage in AVG PC TuneUp 2015 User Manual that might be more to the point:
whenever i use my laptop on battery, pc tuneup automatically switches it to economy mode, which is fine, but it cuts off my wifi connection. i can connect initially, but then it becomes a limited connection with no internet connection at all.
how do you configure or customise economy mode to not do this? i do understand the concept of conserving battery power, but i need to have the option of having continuous wifi. otherwise, what's the use of having a portable wireless machine? it'll be a shame to discontinue using pc tuneup, since it's a very useful app.
