Same issue on my account. Here is the screenshot:
So is this cause for concern or just a bug?
Thanks!

Can you provide us the screenshot of the message you receive, to investigate further?
Hi Thomas,
We appreciate your efforts in sharing us the screenshot.
Upon checking it, we see that the Zenimax app (game) is trying to communicate with a webpage & AVG blocks that page, as it finds it to be malicious.
Would you be so kind to be more specific about when you receive this pop up. Is it while updating the Zenimax app or as soon as opening it?
I've been logging into Elder Scrolls Online every day for several months.
For some reason I am getting blocked by AVG with the message "We've safely aborted connection on patcher.elderscrollsonline.com because it was infected with URL:Blacklist.
How do I remove this from the blacklist since I know this is valid?
I will help you further, Thomas.
Please add this program to AVG exception list https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields and check if that fix the issue.
You can also send the sample of this file https://www.avg.com/en-us/false-positive-file-form to AVG for analysis. If found genuine, it will be added to our global exception list.

Hi,
Pop up appears a few seconds after starting the Elder Scrolls Launcher while it tries to update the game files (which it regularly does), worked in the past without problems (last start was around 10 days ago).
Thanks
Thomas

Good afternoon
Why open another post for this? Seems to be the same error as the original post of DJ van Wyk, and as of today is still not resolved…
As there are no posts on the web related to a virus attack from this game (other than for users using AVG) I hope you can confirm that this is no threat, and suggest a way to remove the blocking.
I could not remove it.
Thank you very much!
Thomas
