I've noticed that many people on this forum have had the same problem, but I haven't seen anyone offer a solution…

"ELF:MiraiDownloader" A Threat That I Can't Remove. After doing a Deep Scan with AVG i was left with 3 threats. I tried to resolve these issues and was able to get rid of two of the threats, except for the "ELF:MiraiDownloader" threat. Help, Please.

Our developers team have resolved this false positive threat detection made by AVG.
Please update your AVG virus definitions to the latest version as mentioned in this article, restart your computer once & check if the issue persists.
Let us know if the issue still persists after performing the above steps.
