Hi,
Have been successfully running EM Client email software with AVG free. However, in the last couple of days, in EM there is now a warning triangle next to the inbox for my gmail account. Clicking on it says that 'EM Client cannot connect to the email server'.
I have reinstalled EM Client, no change.
However, when I switch AVG protection off (via the taskbar) EM client can connect to GMail servers and function normally.
That said, when I switch AVG back on, EM continues to work until I reboot the laptop, at which point AVG starts blocking EM client again.
I am guessing I need to add some sort of exception for EM to AVG rules, but I cannot see how to do it? I cannot seem to add EM as a permitted app.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing the requested information, Colin.
