Thank you.
Since a recent update to 21.5.3185 (build 21.5.6354.561) whenever I open Microsoft Outlook 2019 I now receive a series of Internet Security messages saying "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified. A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider". The certificates are issued by AVG Web/Mail Shield untrusted root.
I get one message for each email service I am using and have to click Yes to each one to continue every time new mail is imported. I have un-installed/re-installed AVG and followed instructions from AVG and in Outlook regarding importing certificates, but I have not been able to resolve this issue. Switching off E-mail shield stops the problem, but that is not the answer. Please advise what further steps I can take.
Thanks,
Trevor
Dear Sreenu,
Thank-you for your reply. I have already tried that solution although I'm not convinced as when I try go to Outlook Trust Centre/Email security/import Digital ID's Certificates and I browse to the find the saved file MailShield.der the file is not recognised in the default file type Security Information list. If I select all files I can then see the file MailShield.der and if I import it I get an import successful message, but it doesn't solve the problem.
Regards,
Trevor

Hello Trevor,
It's good to know that you have managed to resolve the issue. If you need any help with AVG, feel free to contact us.
Hello Hari,
FYI - The link to the article in your reply only took me to a page on the .com site that said "Sorry, we're currently hard at work improving our Support Center". which has been there for the past three days. However I managed to find the program by searching the .uk website. I ran the AVG clear tool and that seems to have resolved the issue.
Regards,
Trevor
