Still have error after repair attempt

when I go to check email there is an error 0x800CCC0E and I have to reboot or shut Avg off.  Any one else having this issue?

I would suggest you to disable AVG Email Protection component and Firewall component one by one and check if the issue resolves upon disabling either of the components. Open AVG Internet Security, click on Menu->Settings->Components. Then use the On/Off slider against each component to disable or enable them.
