I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. May I know if you are using Email Client or Web email? Please try to disable (Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock) AVG Protection and check if you are able to download the attachments from the email.
Why are the attachments not downloading on emails that are sent to me from secure contacts?
