Macro,
Thank you for waiting patiently. It would be helpful if you could provide the screenshot of the Outlook error message to check and assist further.
I look forward to your reply.
Hi Suren,
Without being able to see what is happening it is hard to estimate what the situation is.
I've sent you an email to connect to our Remote Technician to help you with the issue. Please check your mailbox and connect to our Remote Team.
Hello Suren,
I understand the inconvenience caused, let's work together to fix this issue. AVG Secure VPN Virtual Private Network (VPN) gives you a secure and private connection to unrestricted internet access. It's provide you an encrypted connection, which means nobody can track what you do online and it will show a false location. When you connect our VPN software we give you one of our IP address instead of your own (your IP is the unique code that identifies your device). Which means if anyone comes snooping they can only see our server address. Regarding Email not going: In this case, I request you to change AVG Secure VPN location (open AVG Secure VPN > Disconnect > change location "select a different location"> connect) and check if email is going with enabled AVG Secure VPN.
Best regards,
Alok.
I bought AVG VPN today. My email is not going out now. I can receive emails. I am in Sydney. My location is showing Melbourne.
Thanks.
Hi Alok,
I am in Sydney. The only alternative location in Australia is Melbourne. Mail does not go out when my virtual location is Melbourne. Changing the location to Singapore works. The mail does go out. Why?
The problem with this solution is that my browser thinks I am in Singapore and my search results reflect this. Most of the suggested shopping sites show in Singapore, news items are about Singapore. I dont like this. Is there a better solution?
Thanks,
Suren.

Hello Marco,
I understand this must be upsetting.
Thank you for explaining the issue in a clear way.
In this case, I have forwarded the case to senior team for getting suggestion.
Keep checking this post to know about the status.
Your patience is much appreciated.
When I phoned the SAME SITUATION IN (on late evening Feb. 5th (Mon.), I was told nobody else was reporting these issue…! I can RECEIVE email, but can NOT SEND from Outlook (@mac.com mail is the primary issue, which means it's not secure enough for it to be utilized— or MAC is just too stringent.
What it means is after 4 hours of support in (2) places, I basically have to TURN OFF VPN for MAC to SEND MAIL. Changing cities doesn't help, nor does P2P cities (on their change cities buttons).
Just not what I would expect from a VPN or from AVG.
