Hi Earl,
We will help you to get this sorted out. Usually AVG will protect your emails from breaching, however we suggest you to change the password for your email and check if Anti-spam is installed and enabled on your PC.
Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > settings > Components > Anti-spam
If it is not enabled, we suggest you to enable it, also share us the screenshot of the anti-spam component to check if it is installed and enabled to help you further.
Thanks,
Vishnu Vardan
I have AVG Int Sec etc. Lately people on my email list said they were getting messages from me (only with mis spelled name with an S turned to a Z etc) enticing them to get into a Diet Program.
I googled and end up on a sit that checks email and said that my email had been Pawned. My other emails were not.
I thought that AVG Int Sec protected from this - or does Pawning mean that some other site has been breached and my email exposed and maybe used to promote the Diet Company. When I Right Click the site that used my phoney name… it shows a Casino in the USA sent the email.
