Hi Barbi,
If you check Header of received email you should see score calculated by AVG AntiSpam.
It is simply adding score for each indication that email is spam till it reaches 100. If you change score to 15 it will evaluate all emails, with just litle indication, as spam.
Thanks
When needed, I add Spam email addresses to AVG's Anti-Spam Blacklist. But one specific spam email address, which I added months ago, is not being blocked. Two from this specific address hit my spam folder today.
So I went to Option> Advanced Settings> Email Protection> Anti-Spam> Settings, but need clarification on the Score Number, "Mark message as spam if the SCORE is greater or equal to:"
1. What is Score, how it is determined, how do I know what number to set it at if spam still slips through?
2. I am confused about: More Aggressive at left/lower number and Less Aggressive at right/higher number.
Does it mean that a lower score (say 15) will more aggressively block the spam? And a higher score (say 90) will less aggressively block the spam?

Under Option> Advanced Settings> Email Protection> Anti-Spam>) Performance - Engine Performance Settings, please explain what Low-end desktop and High-end desktop mean. Would also like clarification of: "The Anti-Spam engine will be set based on this configuration profile…)
Lastly, does AVG have a Glossary? It would really help.
Thank you
