Thanks for your prompt reply. Do I need to configure my email to what it says in the link eventhough my email is not gmail? I am using bigpond email.

I have set p the AVG  e-mail protection to scan encrypted emails by following the AVG online instructions up to step 6. Can you please show me how to connect to the email client because I'm not quite sure how to do it.
