This answer does not have anything to do with e-mail scanner not working. Since I installed AVG your system has not scanned one of my e-mails. (according to a report card that just popped up) Can someone tell me how to fix this (scanner enabled) problem? Thanks.
Email scanner not scanning again. It fixed itself after an update but every time I restart the computer after a download that recalls restarting it stops working. Second time for this and no update this time is working. Am not very well pleased so far as I have to renew in June and so far have had two firewall issues(requiring reinstalling AVG) and now my second email scanner problem. All these within two months or less. Everything worked good until time for renewal, if not solved will not renew. Will go back to kaspersky as for 10 years have had not a single problem with it, just a resource hog. I asked for help before and they sent me a email asking why my virus vault is empty??? Has nothing to do with email scanner not working. I use AVG Internet Security system, Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware, and Spybot. One way or another I get bad things removed. No viruses show up on anything so its not a virus stopping the email scanning.
