This is AVG AntiVirus Free Edition 2015
So I just updated AVG today with the latest recent patch. After installing it and rebooting, it appears that email scanning is no longer functioning correctly. I use thunderbird and have AVG create it's own server that I log into (localhost) and then AVG connects to my mail server. I double checked all the settings in my mail client, as well as within AVG email server settings, and it all appears to be correct. All i get is a timeout when trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 through my mail client… It worked previously with no problems even after AVG updates etc… Any ideas?

Thanks. It seems to be working again now. Though I notice it says 'Email Protection is not Active' even though it appears to be working fine? When I try to click the Fix Now, nothing is happening.
