Email server certificate is invalid

Since uploading the recent application ver.21.5.3185-build 21.5.6354.561 released on June 15th for AVG Internet Security I have been unable to log into my emails on Office Outlook. I receive the warning ‘that the email server certificate is invalid when you send and receive emails’ as mentioned on your troubleshooting page in home support. But this page doesn’t give a reply for the Office Outlook email client. I have already learned that others are experiencing the same problem (they are using an Avast protection apparently). How can I fix this please? The fix you refer to for one of the other community users only refers to Mozilla Thunderbird, Sea Monkey, and the Bat! email clients. It doesn’t mention Office Outlook.

Hello Veeramani,
Well I can now receive and send mail in MS Outlook, but not entirely without issues. The problem with 'invalid server certificates' seems to be resolved, but there are some problems with my settings that seem to be conflicting. Do I need to contact AVG for that (I would prefer to do that via chat) or go to Microsoft first?
