Just in casr it helps, I just uninstalled AVG Free and went to your website and downloaded the AVG Free setup file. I ran the setup file and checked to see if the signature box was checked after a clean installation. It was not. I checked the signature box again and closed the window. I went back to see if the signature box was still checked and it was not. I am at a loss. If it makes a difference, I am using the latest verion of Chrome and my email client is Yahoo.
Hi Paul,
We'll certainly help you further.
May I know if you're using the free or paid version?
I suggest you to repair AVG program and check if you the option is enabled.

AVG does not add a signature to the end of sent emails no matter how many times I tick the box to add it. After I tick the box and close the settings window, the signature setting reverts back to unchecked. How can I keep it checked?

Thanks for your prompt response. I am using AVG Free Version
Software Version: 19.8.3108 (build 19.8.4257.552)
Virus Definition Version: 200117-2
Number of definitions: 9,003,226
UI Version: 1.0.191
I performed the repair as you suggested but it did not fix the problem.
After performing the repair function the “Add a signature to the end of sent emails” was unchecked. I added a check mark to the box and clicked close. I went back in to the menu and the add a signature feature was still unchecked. I checked the box again and selected close. I went back again and the signature box is still unchecked.
Do you have any other suggestions to resolve the problem?
I appreciate your efforts, Paul.
I have sent an email regarding the option in AVG Antivirus FREE. Please check your inbox/spam for the email.
