Email signature in incomming mails

Hello,

the AVG email signature is added on incomming emails without an option do disable it.
The only option i can configure is the behaviour on outgoing (sent) emails

1. AVG modifies the incomming email content by adding a footer without my consent
2. when replying to received emails the added footer is also tranmitted in the reply message (which is not an desired behaviour) 
3. This leaks the information what anti virus tool I have installed and therefore increases the risk of a targeted attack.
 

Is there a way to prevent the additional email modification on incomming messages?

We understand your concern. Presently, we do not have an option to disable the incoming email scan signature by AVG.
I request you to submit your feedback regarding this concern to our developers directly. You can submit the feedback from the AVG Antivirus Free program directly: Open AVG Antivirus Free > Menu > About > Report a bug/feedback.
