I just renewed my AVG Ultimate subscription… early. The previous subscription was to end on October 30, 2025, but after installing the update I got the following (see the left side of the image… this site won’t allow me to attach 2 files).
I attempted to find a way to communicate with AVG via email to see how this could be fixed. They ended up connecting me via phone with a support person who needed to remote in & uninstall all of the AVG programs, which I found to be a bit extreme just to fix the subscription ending date. It was taking so long, that I had to end the process so I could go to a doctor’s appointment & then handle errands. When I came home, I went through the process of reinstalling the programs myself & now the subscriptions page changed to this (it’s taking a bit of time to re-install AVG tracker)…(see the right side of the image.
Very odd.
I have no desire to deal with a support person who “needs” to remote into my computer to fix a subscription issue. There’s something just wrong about it. Call me paranoid & I’ll concur.
This issue should be handled by accounting, don’t you think?
I firmly believe that this particular issue could have easily been solved by their accounting team.
Can anyone reading this help me resolve this issue?
