Emails not working

Hi, the problem I had earlier has been solved.
All of my emails are working now.

The problem was since the change to the AVG Internet Security 2017 was installed last night via an update, I lost my virginmedia email.

I checked the web for a solution and came up with the answer.
Here is the link I used and all the settings needed to use a virginmedia email address on Windows Live Mail.

Thank you to all who responded.
Hopefully this solution will help others.

Hello Kevin,

We are sorry to hear that you are unable to receive email in particular email account. Please open the control panel and check if you have two instances of AVG Protection in your computer. If so, please uninstall the older version of AVG Protection from control panel and let us know if that fix this issue. If you still have any difficulty, please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the AVG version installed in your computer, so that we can check the same and assist you further.

Thank you

I have recently received the latest update from AVG which appears to have reshaped the whole of the AVG program into a new program.

I use Windows Live mail

I have 4 emails ending in ntlworld.com
and
1 ending in virginmedia.com

My ntlworld emails are working ok
but the virginmedia is not working at all.

I assumed the new AVG would have taken then previous settings and incorporated this into the new AVG program.

Any clues on if I need to change any setting.

AVG was working perfectly until the new download.

Thanks
