I was astonished to find that a $119. had been charged to my Visa account for a subscription I had not agreed to…when I disputed this I had no response from AVG and Paypal told me it was an automataically generated response from a subscription I'd made 3 years previously. Recognizing that I had not intended it to be renewed without my consent I had paypal stop any further renewals witihout my permission. However now AVG is claiming that the subscription that was renewed and paid for (reluctantly) by me…supposedly for 10 devices…I have only one) has expiried. I've complained about this before …but somehow can't find a real person to connect with. I have lodged a complaint with Paypal but they have had no response from River City Ireland who received the payment. Now I keep getting warnings that my service has been cancelled. I am feeling frustrated that there is no phone number for talking to someone about a unique billing problem. What can I do to resolve this situation?
