"Enhanced Firewall Question" does not remember answer

Hello Brent.
Thank you for contacting AVG. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Please make sure AVG Internet Security is up to date. Open AVG, click Menu -> Settings -> General -> Update.

If it is up to date, I would request you to add the file in question to the firewall application rules as described in this article (https://bit.ly/2T247kC). Could you also share a screenshot of your AVG Firewall settings window? Open AVG, click Menu -> Settings -> Full Protection -> Enhanced Firewall.

When the "Enhanced Firewall Question" window pops up to Allow or Deny internet access to a programme, you can check the "Remember my answer" option…

…but it does not work. I have spates of the prompt popping up for the same programme again and again and again every few seconds. The current one is for Microsoft OneDrive Co-Authoring Executable. This same file has popped up multiple times before. Clearly, my answer has in no way been remembered. This is so frustrating.

Can anyone help with this, or can AVG jolly well fix the issue??

You are most welcome Brent. If you need any help with AVG, feel free to reach us at anytime.

Yes, virus definitions and application showing as "up to date".
I will set a rule for the file as suggested.
Enhanced firewall settings

Reinstall completed. So far, all is good - no more persistent prompts. I will update the status if there is any further problem.
Thank you for your prompt responses and follow up. It is appreciated.
