1. Open AVG Internet Security and click on "Menu" on the top right of the program.
2. Click on "Settings".
3. Click on "Troubleshooting".
4. Scroll down to the "Reset All Settings" section and Click on the "Reset To Default" option.
Once the above actions have been performed, please restart your computer and check if the issue still persists.

Every time I close down my computer it turns off the enhanced firewall. When I restart my computer, a message box appears stating that firewalls and anti virus has been switched off. If I then try to switch on the enhanced firewall, it often fails to turn on and sometimes locks up completely.
Any suggestions appreciated.
