Hi Nenad,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
To attempt backing up the AVG settings, you can : Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - Settings - General - Troubleshooting - Scroll down & check if it allows you to 'Backup settings'.
Once you've backed up the settings, you can try initiating the firewall service manually by following the below steps :
Press windows logo key & R key together to get runline command - Type services.msc & then find AVG Firewall service in the list - Right click on it & select properties - start the service & restart your computer once to check.
I tried adding new application rule to Enhanced firewall component and AVG froze and went unresponsive so I had to restart my computer. After the restart, enhanced firewall component does no longer work and my list of application rules is empty now. When I click on big red "TURN ON" button the application states that Enhanced firewall is not available. How can I solve this and how can I restore my application rule list?
I was able to start the firewall, but I was unable to restore my application rule list. It's just empty.
Also, I cannot create new group, when I click on "New Group" button, nothing happens. I have to be able to create firewall rules.
